"We have known the Finlon building business for over ten years.  They have carried out minor repairs and major construction on and to our two residential care homes over that time. When it was necessary for us to put a project out to tender the Finlon quote was always the best and cheapest.

We are currently nearing the completion of a major project, being a large annexe of about 800 square metres.  This an annexe to our residential care home and will provide extra bathrooms, shower rooms, a large day room and 13 bedrooms with en-suite toilet facilities. The cost will be in excess of £2 million.

The building has underfloor heating as well as all the fire, panic and nurse call systems.

The upper floors are serviced by a lift and two staircases, with offices, training and staff rooms on the second floor.

The Finlons have managed the contract well, with a good atmosphere among all the workforce and sub-contractors.  The contract is on time and in some areas ahead of schedule. Liaison between us and the Finlons has been efficient and effective.

The site has been kept clean and disruption to the daily life at the Home has been minimal.

There have been no complaints from the neighbours, and the site manager mended a neighbours fence when it blew down in the recent wind, without being asked.

We have an excellent working relationship with the firm, they are hardworking and honest people.  We are happy to recommend Finlon Building Contractors for any similar work."

"Messrs Finlon Building Contractors are currently constructing a £1.3M extension to an existing Care Home at Frindsbury near Rochester.  The project is now 80% complete.

Programming with a tight target schedule has been accurate and work stages to date completed on time. 

The site has been kept clean and tidy despite the difficult working conditions that have resulted from a complex division between existing functioning care home and area of work.

Site control has been good, Health & Safety Plan has been followed in all aspects. Plant and equipment is maintained in good order and support facilities have been kept clean.
